awards2We’ve had a flurry of last-minute entries in today for the Reputation Online Effectiveness Awards, but following a fair few requests for an extension last week – we’ve decided to make it fair and push the deadline for everyone out to June 11th. It also seems appropriate that at the same time, we should announce our fantastic judges.

We’ve put together a panel of thought-leaders, some working within the communications industry – others from brands themselves. We’re really excited to have them on board, as the expertise of the group reflects the broad mixture of readers that form our community.

Those joining me on the judging panel for 2010’s awards will be:

Ben Novick, head of ads PRĀ for Google and YouTube across EMEA.

Sophy Silverman, head of PR & communications, UK & Ireland for Facebook.

Richard George, European PR manager, LinkedIn.

Blaise Grimes-Viort, head of communities & social media for The National Magazine Company, a London-based subsidiary of Hearst.

Gav Thompson, head of brand strategy O2 UK and creator of giffgaff.

Ted Hunt, digital and emerging media manager at innocentĀ drinks.

Justin Pearse, editor, new media age.

Mike Nutley, editor in chief, new media age and Reputation Online.

If you haven’t sent your entry in yet, you’ve still got time. Visit Reputationonlineawards.co.uk to view the categories, judging criteria and submit.
