crisis-management-online-crisis-pr-social-media-crisisBased on our sister publication’s NMA Live format, Reputation Online is pleased to announce our very first event. With a short lead-time and relevant speakers, the sessions aim to discuss current issues affecting the community.

This time we’ll be covering crisis management in an online world on Friday February 5th at the Hesperia London Victoria.

Crisis management is a tough job regardless of the situation it relates to, but when you consider the immediacy and sheer reach that the online world brings to the table – it becomes overwhelming. New technologies and new behaviours change the way a story or event is talked about, and inevitably dealt with. Why are some cases made a spectacle of, but others ignored? Is there any way to prepare for such an event? And when it happens – is there anything you can do to protect your reputation?
