Docket_brandingIf you’re familiar with messaging sessions, you might have once asked a brand how it would relate its persona to something in the physical world. This might take the shape of; ‘what type of car would you be?’, ‘which flavour of ice cream?’ or even ‘which high street shop?’

The answers are very telling, and often say an awful lot about what the business values of the company in question. We wondered what the make up of our readership would look like if the question was reversed, and ask our readers which brand they’d most like to be associated with.

The results of this will obviously be affected by each brand’s own reputation, but it’s an interesting experiment all the same. It says a lot about you, but also about the brand.

We’ve used the top ten of Millward Brown’s most valuable global brands list as a starting point (full list here if you need some inspiration). As ever, if we haven’t included your brand of choice, just leave a comment below.

  • This is a fun questions. I can agree with @Ciaran above - Wired Mag would be cool. I think Google has a fun brand tho!
  • Loving that everyone thinks they would be Apple :) Yeah, cos we are all that stylish!! :)
  • A colleague in the office, when I asked this question, named a magazine. And I have to agree - I think I'm better represented by a publisher than a brand, in which case it would be The Guardian or Wired UK.
